EatLafayette Satisfies the Appetite and the Pocketbook

(Lafayette, La.) – The EatLafayette campaign is about more than just pushing people to go eat at participating restaurants. It is about encouraging them to dine at locally-owned restaurants in support of the local economy. So, to entice diners, many of the EatLafayette restaurants are offering specials.

The specials are the restaurants’ way of giving back to patrons, so many are offering excellent deals on popular menu items. The specials include discounted or free menu items, discounted three-course meals and specially priced dishes, among others. Some examples are:
-         Bailey’s Seafood Grill: For $16.95, get grilled tilapia topped with roasted pepper crawfish sauce served over angel hair pasta. The entrée comes with vegetables, roasted potatoes and a dinner salad;
-         Bisbano’s Pizza: Buy 1 large specialty pizza, get a second pizza for only $2. Dine-in only;
-         Charley G’s: Get a three course lunch or dinner for $25.00. 1st course: Caesar salad or smoked duck and andouille gumbo; 2nd course: Blue Point Crab Cakes with creole green beans or Wood Grilled Shrimp Florentine with roma tomatoes, parmesan cheese and bowtie pasta; 3rd course: white chocolate bread pudding;
-         Chris’ Poboys: Cup of chicken and sausage gumbo appetizer only $2.00;
-         Lil Daddy’s BBQ: Get a Family Pack and one pound of sausage for $30.79;
-         Randol’s: Buy one seafood platter and get half off the purchase of a second seafood platter.

Your stomach will appreciate the food and your pocketbook will appreciate the price. But, these specials are only good the length of the campaign which ends August 15. So get out there and eat Lafayette.
