Montana Good Sam Club To Host “Feather Your Nest” Samboree
 
WHAT/WHY:
The Montana Good Sam Club will host its annual summer Samboree July 11-15, 2007 at the Butte Civic Center in Butte, MT. This year’s theme will be “Feather Your Nest” and will provide RVers with seminars, vendors, and a weekend of games and activities geared toward the entire family.
 
Activities will begin on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 with an early bird dinner sponsored by the Montana State Good Sam Club. The Jamaleers will provide entertainment after dinner. The opening ceremony will take place Thursday, July 12, 2007 with a flag ceremony, several speakers, city tours and a seminar on safety will be provided by the Montana Highway Patrol. Events on Friday, July 13, 2007 include a brown-bag “Red Hat” lunch, bingo, card making and beading classes, and pot luck dinners sponsored by various chapters. On Saturday, July 14, 2007 there will a memorial service for all members who have died over the past year, a State Meeting and an Arts & Crafts Flea Market from 1pm – 4pm. A catered dinner will be available Saturday night for $10 per person. 
 
Games, raffles, and door prizes will occur throughout the weekend along with nightly entertainment. Proceeds from the raffles will benefit the Dogs For The Deaf Charity, Camp Make-A-Dream, and the Special Olympics. Proceeds from collected bottle caps will benefit the Ronald McDonald House. 
 
The Samboree will conclude on Sunday July 15, 2007 with a non-denominational church service, a pancake breakfast and closing ceremonies.
