Lafayette Restaurants Launch Eat Lafayette Campaign
(Lafayette, LA) - "To eat well is to Eat Lafayette" is the headline for an upcoming local restaurant campaign. Branded as "Eat Lafayette", the multi-media advertising campaign will launch the first promotion for a group of Lafayette restaurants that have come together to encourage a Lafayette-wide culinary experience.
The event is sparked by a $14,000 grant from the Lafayette Convention & Visitors Commission along with contributions from the participating restaurants and supporting sponsors, BellSouth and Atmos Energy.
The promotion is also billed as a celebration of the continued growth of an important part of the Acadiana culture, culinary and economic scene.

When: Inaugural Eat Lafayette promotion period: June 20-30, 2005
Purpose: A celebration of the continued growth of an important part of the Acadiana culture, culinary and economic scene.
Price: Anything to do with the number "25" in honor of the "250th Anniversary of the Cajuns in Louisiana". Visit www.EatLafayette.com for participating restaurant specials. All restaurants will also offer their regular a la carte menu.
