Good Sam Club Members to Celebrate "Arizona Territorial Days"

(Casa Grande, Ariz)-Good Sam Club members and RVers throughout Arizona are coming together once again for the state's annual Samboree. The event, planned for March 3-6, 2005, will be held at the Pinal County Fairgrounds in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Many exciting activities have been planned that highlight this year's theme: "Arizona Territorial Days." Activities will include a Theme Parade, a Pet Parade, a cake and goodie walk, table and outdoor tournament games, door prizes, and a Scholarship Fund Auction. The Samboree will also feature three nights of entertainment. The Aztec Dancers, Captain Nostalgia, Mike Dunn & Company, and Ken & Lynn Mikell are scheduled to appear on stage. Additionally, RV dealers and vendors will be present as well, hosting seminars and showcasing the latest in RV merchandise and equipment.

The Samboree has also added several new events this year. An early morning walk as well as a "WANTED" contest have been added to the list of activities. Posters will be hung around the park with clues about those who are WANTED. The first to identify the person will win monetary rewards. Also, for the first time ever, one Good Sam Member or family member will receive a $1,000.00 State Staff Scholarship. The fun doesn't stop there, however. The GMAC/VIP Insurance "King of the Rig" contest will be held, in which contestants will be given the opportunity to test their RV knowledge and compete for valuable prizes.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 3, 4, and 5 will be deemed 'Good Sam Days' at the Fairgrounds with numerous special activities and programs lined up. During these days, the public is cordially invited to attend the Samboree to experience first-hand the fun of being a member of the Good Sam Club. Walk-In Passes can be purchased for $5.00 per person, per day with children 12 and under being admitted for free. The passes entitle guests to attend all activities and the evening entertainment, with the exception of the Saturday Evening Catered Dinner.
