2017 Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off Competitors Announced
 
(Lafayette, La.) – Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser officially named the 2017 Louisiana Seafood Chef competitors today. The Lt. Governor was joined by Lafayette Travel and EatLafayette™ officials who are hosting the competition at the June 20 Taste of EatLafayette event.

The event is relocating to Lafayette from New Orleans and will include a live cook-off during the event with chefs competing from all over the state. The winner will be announced that evening. The event will be in at the CAjUNDOME Convention Center in Lafayette, La.

The competitors are:

In addition to the live cook-off, 60 locally owned restaurants will offer a Taste of EatLafayette along with a host of sponsors. The summer long EatLafayette campaign kicks off with the Taste of EatLafayette event June 20 at the CAJUNDOME Convention Center. The EatLafayette tasting event offers a chance to sample the cuisine from some of the restaurants participating in EatLafayette.
 
This year's Taste of EatLafayette kick-off event will be held in conjunction with the Louisiana Seafood Promotion Board Cook-Off, which is relocating to Lafayette from New Orleans! This will include a live cook-off during the event with chefs from all over the state, including Lafayette's finest, participating in a cook-off competition with the winner to be announced that evening.

The public will have a chance to win tickets to the event by listening to sponsor media stations as well as following EatLafayette restaurants on social media. If you wish to purchase your ticket for the event you can do so starting at today at
Ticketmaster or the CAJUNDOME Box Office.
