The flowers are starting to bloom, the sun is shining brighter every day, and you are getting the rust off of your gardening tools to prep your spring garden! We are just as excited for the lovely weather to come, but we also want to caution you to do your gardening safely. While gardening can be a relaxing hobby, it can also cause some wear and tear on your muscles. It is important to know your limitations and listen to your body. If you feel fatigued due to overexposure of sunlight, take a break in the shade and simply admire your gardening progress. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, and keep your body's temperature regulated while enjoying outdoor activities this spring. Eat healthy snacks on your gardening days to keep you energized. If you experience muscle soreness, let your muscles rest and resume your gardening once your body has recuperated. If you have arthritis, use tools that are easy to grasp and that fit your capability. Doing moderate, regular physical activity, such as gardening, can give you more energy and help to relieve some of the pain and stiffness your arthritis may cause. So pick out your favorite flower from your local nursery, and enjoy the weather in your soon-to-be beautiful garden!
With all of the new blossoms and cheerful weather, spring is the perfect time for a celebration. We at Boulet Physical Therapy and Wellness Institute proudly celebrated our 23rd year of business on April 6th! We would like to thank all of our past, present, and future clients for your business and friendship over these 23 years of service. We are grateful to be celebrating another successful year, and we look forward to celebrating many more years of serving you, our beloved clients!
We would also like to celebrate all mothers this Mother's Day with a special coupon promotion. All mothers can receive a 25% Off Gift Certificate for a massage (regularly priced at $70).
