The campaign is active on social media with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram along with a weekly eNewsletter.
“This is our second year as a sponsor,” said Ginger Louviere, owner of Spa Mizan, an AVEDA Salon and Spa
on Kaliste Saloom Road near Ambassador Caffery. “We saw double digit growth last year and know that our visibility through the campaign helped. Our business sees over 400 new guests each month. The industry average is around 40.” Spa Mizan & Salon was named one of the top 200 salons and apas in North America in 2014. Louviere is a past recipient of the Louisiana Economic Development Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year.
POSH Exclusive Interiors
owner and principal designer, Monique Breaux, is known locally and internationally for her exquisite design and furniture manufacturing. Among her clients is the Trump organization, so this business owner is no stranger to how important it is to promote what a business has to offer. “We are so excited to have been asked to be a sponsor,” said Monique Breaux. “We have a large client base in the region. Lafayette is home and is where we are able to do some of our best work. We love to shop and we wanted to be a part of an effort to encourage more people to shop in Lafayette Parish.” POSH is expanding its commercial space to include retail space featuring MBreaux designs.
Mary Landry Hopkins and her husband, Jim, have been long time retailers in the Oil Center. Renaissance Market & Brasserie
has undergone several expansions as their inventory and merchandise have increased along with their customer base. They have launched the careers of many Louisiana designers and artists while creating a one of kind shopping experience. “We knew right away we wanted to be a part of this effort to bring shoppers to our community,” said Mary Landry Hopkins. “Like us, Lafayette businesses have a lot to offer. Every day we are so amazed at the treasures we find to offer our customers. Lafayette is certainly full of unique shopping options.”
This is the second year that Shop River Ranch
has participated in the promotion. The district is home to many of Lafayette’s unique clothing, jewelry and retail stores. “You really can find everything you want in River Ranch,” said Dawn Fournier, coordinator for Shop River Ranch and a broker with Southern Lifestyle Real Estate. “Our merchants draw customers from many cities, states and countries. River Ranch hosts several holiday events and our residents’ guests and families don’t have far to go to shop when they visit over the holidays.”
