They distribute over 400 refreshing beverages. Their product portfolio includes Coca-Cola®, Coke Zero®, Diet Coke® Sprite®, Fanta®, Dasani®, Powerade®, Minute Maid®, VitaminWater® and many more.
For almost 100 years, Lafayette Coca-Cola Bottling Company has proudly supported many civic and charitable organizations serving our communities and continues to do so today.
“We support Lafayette restaurants year-long and wanted to do something extra for the locally-owned eateries,” said Lee Tatford, division vice president of Coca Cola Lafayette. “We see this first year of sponsorship as the beginning of a growing relationship.”
The Lafayette distributor is providing soft drinks for the kick-off event, giveaways for promotions, a 30-foot inflatable Coca Cola bottle for the “Follow the Bottle” campaign as well as monetary support.
“Product support is part of what we are providing to the restaurants for campaign specials as well as the beverage foundation for some amazing creations that the local restaurants have planned,” said Tatford. “Our team is ready to support the 71 restaurants that signed up this year and work with Lafayette Travel to promote Lafayette as a food destination.”
In January 1933, Lafayette Coca-Cola was located on the corner of Johnson and Jefferson Street (formerly known as Oak Street) where Coca-Cola products for the area were warehoused. The facility was leased for $20 a month. The product was transported from the Lake Charles and Jennings production plants. In 1936, they relocated to the corner of University and Cameron Street until moving to the current facility on Eraste Landry Road in the early 1970s.
